Indigo Labs México was founded in Mexico City in 2006 by Jorge Amézquita Sahagún. The main objective of the institution is to provide with quality blood lines to the Mexican breeding by exploiting at the maximum degree the qualities of the authentic breed for the benefit of men. For us, it is not enough that a dog is beautiful and with a great constitution. Furthermore, we need a dog with character, intelligence, obedience, agility, nobility, physical condition and other attributes appropriate for the Labrador Retriever. At the beginning we dedicated to assess the existing best lines in the country for observing their different attributes. We went to the oldest breeding places and we went with the most recognized experts in the breed. The puppies were carefully selected and mixed intelligently with the best of England and the United States. That is the origin of the members of this project. Great swimmers, skilful in hinting, agile fishers, highly

developed senses of smell, a privileged field vision, highly acute ears, of great devotion to the owner, with an enormous tenderness for children, jealous of their territory, willing to work hard, and to sum up: wonderful canine individuals, highly caring and loyal, but with an intelligence much higher than the standard.
